Roseanne Lynch, Place (2010-2011)

There is stillness within movement, the breath in between, while light defines the planes of a space.

This series seeks to create work that has the capacity to quieten, if not silence, the viewing experience and in doing so, open up a space for internal conversation.

BIO

Roseanne Lynch has exhibited nationally and internationally, with solo shows in Enschede, The Netherlands, and Cork. In 2011 she received the Alliance Francaise Photography Photography Award in Dublin. She has work in National and international collections.

Lynch lectures in Photography at Crawford College of Art and Design in Cork City, where she completed a Fine Art Masters by Research from CIT Crawford College of Art & Design. She has experience working both as an exhibiting artist and as an art project developer and facilitator.  She has worked with both The Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin and The Lewis Glucksman Gallery, UCC where she formulated and delivered art based projects based on current exhibitions to youth, minority and general public groups.

Lynch is represented by nag, New Art Gallery, Francis St. Dublin.
